THEATRE

If we shadows have offended,
 Think but this, and all is mended,
 That you have but slumber'd here
 While these visions did appear.
 And this weak and idle theme,
 No more yielding but a dream

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved playing dress-up and make believe. In fact, until the age of 5 years old, I wore nothing but costumes — “normal clothes” were not words in my vocabulary.

As I grew older, and into a more regular wardrobe, I found this wonderful place to keep my creativity alive — the theatre.

Performing came as natural to me as breathing and from the second I could read I was devouring everything from Andrew Lloyd Webber, to Shakespeare, to Chekhov.

Throughout my lifetime I have preformed in over 70 straight plays, musicals, and variety shows. In 2012, I was in the New England premier of “August; Osage County” as the character Johanna. “August” was was recently turned into a movie (sadly, not starring me).

I have taken a break from acting to pursue a career in medicine, but theatre is in my blood. So have no fear, I’ll be back.

Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.

William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
